Question:

​I have recently graduated with a bachelor’s in Software Engineering in this past month of July. I was finding internships and applied but didn’t got any. In our field you need to have an experience I added fake experience and got a call from HR for internship. HR called me for test I appeared and passed it and then call me for interview I passed it too. They offered me an internship with stipend.

Internship that I got offered requirements were:
1)Bachelor’s in Software Engineering
2)Excellent communication and verbal skills
3) Must have good understanding of SEO

There were no pre-requisite of experience in it.But it made some impression on HR that’s why she called me and also the experience was of Front end development and it was not directly related to SEO.

Now my questions are:
Would it be haram that the stipend they would give me?
Whatever I learned from that internship would it be haram too?
If I work on other projects based on the things learned from this internship, the money earned through those would be haram too?
If I tell the person who interviewed me would it make it halal?

Watch a video in which Zakir Naik answered about the fake degree question and said it is haram?
Also assimalhakeem said it haram too about the fake certifications and degree?

But I didn’t get fake certifications and fake degree I written a fake experience that they won’t even demanded but it made some impression on HR that’s why she called me for test and then I passed it and then I passed the interview

Answer:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Falsely claiming an experience is impermissible and sinful as it involves dishonesty and deception. Reflect on the following ahadīth:
 

• The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "He who takes up arms against us is not from amongst us; and he who cheats us is not from amongst us." [Muslim: 1579].

 

• Abu Huraira Radiyallahu Anhu narrated that : The Prophet ﷺ said, "The signs of a hypocrite are three: Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie; whenever he is entrusted, he proves dishonest and whenever he promises, he breaks his promise." [Sahih al-Bukhari: 2749]

 

• Ibn 'Umar narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When the slave (of Allah) lies, the angel goes a mile away from him because of the stench of what he has done. [Jami` at-Tirmidhi: 1972]

 
However, as far as the income from the job is concerned, it will be halal and permissible for you to receive it, provided that you are qualified for the job and are able to fulfill the assigned tasks in a satisfactory manner. Moreover, the knowledge and experience acquired through your internship is halāl and may be used to pursue future projects or jobs.
 
Lastly, it is crucial to sincerely repent to Allah ﷻ for the sin of lying and deception.

جعلی سرٹیفکیٹ کے ذریعے حاصل شدہ ملازمت کا شرعی حکم - سوال : ایک شخص کسی نہ کسی طرح ایک تجربے کا سرٹیفکیٹ بنوا کر باہر ملک جا کر کام کرتا ہے، حقیقت میں اس پوسٹ پر اس نے کام نہیں کیا لیکن اپنے آپ کو اس پوسٹ کا اہل کہتا ہے، قانون کی نظروں میں تو وہ مجرم ہے، لیکن شریعت اور اسلامی اصولوں پر اگر اس شخص کی کمائی کو پرکھیں تو وہ کمائی جائز ہے یا نہیں؟

جواب: جس منصب پر اسے مقرر کیا گیا ہے، اگر وہ اس کام کی پوری صلاحیت رکھتا ہے اور کام بھی پوری دیانت داری دیتا ہے، اگر آپ کے سے کرتا ہے تو اس کی کمائی حلال ہے، البتہ وہ جھوٹ اور غلط کاری کا مرتکب ہے۔ اور اگر وہ اس کام کا اہل نہیں یا اہل ہے مگر کام دیانت میں اسلامی اُصولوں داری سے نہیں کرتا تو کمائی حلال نہیں  (آپ کے مسائل اور اُن کاحل: 7/298  ط.  مکتبہ لدھیانوی)

 

یہ جھوٹ اور دھوکا ہے لہذا جائز نہیں، اس کی اعانت کرنے والے بھی گناہگار ہوں گے ، البتہ جو کام اس کے ذمہ ہے اگر وہ اسے بحسن وخوبی انجام دینے کی صلاحیت رکھتا ہے تو تنخواہ حلال ہے۔ واللہ سبحانہ وتعالی اعلم  (أحسن الفتاوى: 8/198 ط. إيچ إيم سعيد)

 

جعلی سرٹیفیکٹ کے ذریعہ سے جو نوکری حاصل کی جاتی ہے وہ نا جائز ہے؛ اس لئے کہ یہ جھوٹ اور دھوکہ ہے تا ہم جو کام اس کے ذمہ ہے، اگر وہ اس کو بحسن و خوبی انجام دیتا ہے، تو اس کے لئے اجرت لینا جائز اور حلال ہے (فتاوى قاسمية: 24/433  ط. دار الإشاعت)

 

زید نے جھوٹ بول کر اور جعلی سرٹیفکٹ داخل کر کے جو نوکری حاصل کی ہے، اس سے ملنے والی تنخواہ تو حلال ہے؛ کیوں اس کی محنت اور ڈیوٹی کا عوض ہے، مگر جھوٹ بولنا اور خلاف قانون نوکری حاصل کرنا، دھوکہ اور فریب ہے، اس کا گناہ اس پر الگ سے ہو گا ، رہی بات غیر کے حق کا سلب ہونا تو یہ ایک امر متردد فیہ ہے؛ کیوں کہ اس ڈگری کے حامل ہزاروں کی تعداد میں لوگ ملازمت کے امیدوار ہوتے ہیں، لیکن ملازمت کے فیصلہ سے پہلے اسپر کسی کا استحقاق نہیں ہوتا؛ اس لئے کسی کا حق مارا نہیں گیا (فتاوى قاسمية: 21/555  ط. دار الإشاعت)
