Dream: inside a building during storm and darkness

Question:

Can you please help interpret this dream? I saw it before I woke up for fajar prayers.

I was in a high apartment building. My husband and daughter are in upper level. I am ground floor, and I see myself opening door for the building to look outside. As I open the door, I see one of my deceased relatives, standing with blank expressions staring at me. His condition was neither good nor bad. I can also see his wife and daughter (both are alive) standing at some distance from him. All 3 are just staring at me, without any expressions. Behind them, I can see the weather quickly getting darker as a storm is approaching. I ask daughter to bring her mom inside building but she doesn’t listen. I keep insisting but all three of them are just staring at me. I can see 2 tornadoes/ hurricane coming up but they don’t move. Eventually the wind is so bad that I have almost closed the door 90% and I’m screaming for them to come inside. All I can remember is that may be that daughter tried bring her mom inside while I was almost closing the door though it was so dusty and dark outside that I could not see for sure.

Answer:

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيْم

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Dream interpretation:

The building indicates deen. You and your family being inside the building indicates religiousness and piety of you and your family. The level of piety and religiousness of your husband and daughter is higher than that of yours. Your relatives being outside indicates they haven't reached the required level of piety and religiousness. You should make dua for them as well as advise the living ones among them, even though it may seem that they do not respond to your advice. The darkness and hurricane/storm suggest impending trials and tribulations, and the building offers protection from it, i.e. holding on to the deen and being steadfast on it is the means of protection from the impending trials and tribulations. May Allah SWT protect us all from trials and tribulations. Ameen.
