celebrating birthday of the Prophet

Question:

What is the best way to celebrate the birthday of the Prophet (s.a.w.)?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

The birthday of the Holy Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) was never celebrated by the sahabah, the tabi’een or the tab’u tabi’een. We should remember the Holy Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) everyday by sending salawaat (darud) upon him, by reading about his seerah and by embracing his sunnahs and teachings.
