paying hospital bill with interest money

Question:

Can we pay the hospital bill with interest money?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Interest money cannot be used to pay for hospital bills. Hospital bills should be paid from halal money. Interest money should be given as sadaqah (charity) to the poor people as soon as possible without the intention of earning reward.
