nikah does not terminate due to abstaining from sexual relationship

Question:

After getting married, if the couple do not have sexual relationship for a few months, does their nikah remain valid?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

The nikah does not terminate due to the husband and wife not having sexual relationship, regardless of how long they abstain from sexual relationship. Hence, the answer to your question is that the nikah of such a husband and wife will remain valid.
