Question:

I was having sex with my wife when suddenly Shaitan took my attention towards anal sex. I knew that this is sinful but I was unaware that this is a major sin. A few minutes later I remembered that I have heard that by doing anal sex nikah also breaks. I wept a lot in front of Allah and gave sadaqa and i am doing istighfaaar. Please tell me the solution. I am feeling very guilty. I have lost interest in every thing. I also feel that my future children will be unlawful. What should I do? Jazakallah 

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Anal sex is strictly prohibited and sinful by the consensus of the scholars. According to the hadith, a person who engages in this heinous act is accursed. (Abu Dawud; Bazl ul-Majhood: 3/258)

Although anal sex is prohibited, one's nikah does not become invalid by engaging in it. Also, one's children will not become unlawful.
