Question:


Will there by technology in jannah, such as cars, computers, laptops, mobile phones etc?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Name

In jannah one will have whatever his heart desires. Allah Ta’ala says in the Holy Quran:

 

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَلَّا تَخَافُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا بِالْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي كُنْتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ (30) نَحْنُ أَوْلِيَاؤُكُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآَخِرَةِ وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِي أَنْفُسُكُمْ وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَدَّعُونَ (31)

 

As for those who say, `Our Lord is Allah;' and then remain steadfast, the angels descend on them, reassuring them: Fear not, nor grieve; and rejoice in the glad tidings of the Paradise which you were promised; We are your friends in this life and in the Hereafter. Therein you will have all that your souls will desire, and therein you will have all that you ask for (Quran 41:30-31)
