SealSkinz
socks were tested by the Darul Iftaa of Hazrat Mufti Ebrahim Desai sahib (May
Allah protect him) in South
Africa. They were found to fulfil all the
requirements set forth by the jurists for the permissibility of doing masah
over them. Hence, it is permissible to do masah on SealSkinz socks, just as it
is permissible to do masah on leather socks.
