ladies praying in congregation (jamat)

Question:

Is it permissible for ladies to offer their salat in a ladies congregation (jama'ah)?

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

According to the Hanafi mazhab, it is makrooh tahreemi (impermissible) to do so. Some other mazhabs allow it. One should follow the ruling of his own mazhab.
