My husband wrote me in messenger: I was just about to say 1 talaq.
One day he asked me to promise him that I am not going to hurt him and that if I do so again, our marriage will be nullified. I disagreed and rejected. But in a couple of days, when I learned about his intention to marry another woman, I said If you marry her, I will be haraam to you.
Also, there was one time after I asked to divorce many times, he said alright, bring me a man who would like to marry you, then I will divorce you, Does this also count?
Did talaq take place?
Before consummating the marriage, the husband said "I'm divorcing you. I'm divorcing you. I'm divorcing you." Then he sent her two divorce notices. How many talaqs took place? Can they remain together?
Is it permissible for a woman in iddah after an irrevocable divorce to attend classes at madrasa? She is in her final year of alimiyya and set to graduate soon. Would she be allowed to go to class and then straight back home? She would have to repeat the year if she can’t go to class.
Recently my husband's elder brother had a verbal fight with my father that I didn't even know about. When I tried clarifying, my husband said to me (in Urdu):
"Tu mere upar haram hai... jab tak tere ghar waley jaakar mere ghar Walon se maafi nahi maange tabtak tu haram hai mere upar... tu nikal ja yahan se tu haram hai ab mere upar"... agar tere ko mere Nikah mein rehna hai to tere ghar waley mere ghar walon se maafi mangna"
Translation: You are haram on me … until your family goes and seeks forgiveness from my family, you are haram on me … get out from here you are now haram on me … If you want to be in my nikah, your family must seek forgiveness from my family
These were his exact words. My question is: Did talaq happen with that?
Husband said/wrote statement of talaq against the second wife in order to please the first wife. He didn't intend to issue talaq. Is the talaq valid?
Husband said to wife in anger: "You’re better without me, my mother does not want my happiness, just leave me, you’re free now. Talaq." How many divorces took place?
Husband said in an argument with his brother "Just after 15 days of marriage, I left (or separated from) my wife, went to earn to the Middle East and supported the family for many years" .... Did divorce take place between him and his wife due to those words?
Husband said to his wife in an argument "I divorce you" (just to scare her). Then he said "I give you talak" and "Are you happy I gave you Talak?". How many talaks took place?
Husband lives in Country A. Wife is from Country B. While husband is in Country A, the wife is visiting Country C.
In this situation, the wife is given talaq al bain (irrevocable divorce) by her husband (through the internet). The wife was staying in Country C temporarily, and had to fly back to Country B, and so could not complete the iddah in Country C.
What should she have done? If she could not do what she was supposed to do (e.g. stay back in Country C so that the iddah was completed), does she have to do anything now to compensate for it?
If someone gives 3 talaqs (divorces) at once to his wife when she was in menses without knowing that it is haram to give talaq in condition of menses, do the talaqs take place? Or does the husband have to do rujoo (i.e. take her back)? Please answer according to Quran and hadith.
In Surah Mujadalah, Allah (swt) speaks about zihaar. Can you please explain to me the conditions of zihaar? My husband once got angry with me and told me that he cared about his mum more than me. Was that zihaar? Jazakallah Khair.
My husband sent the following messages to my mobile phone:
1) If you dont come back to me and fix it enti talak. (sent at 12:21 am)
2) Now is your only chance (sent at 12:22 am)
3) you must come before 1 am if your not at the door im going to come to your parents house and divorce you. (sent at 12:42 am)
Did divorce take place? Please note the following:
- I did not go to him and he didn’t come to my parents’ house.
- In the first message, by “fix it” he meant I needed to come home and fix what we were fighting about.
- Later on, I asked my husband the following question:
“When you were writing the first message, did you have any time period in your mind before which you wanted me to come home and ‘fix it’?”
His answer to the above question was that he did not have any time period in his mind when he wrote the first message.
I had my menses and was not myself. My husband and I got into a fight. He was very angry and full of rage. I asked for a talak. He left the room. When he returned he whispered ‘talak talak talak’ to himself. I did not hear this and was unaware of it. I went to see a maulana and he indicated that there was a male jinn on me. I would like to know if the talak is valid.
_My husband and I got into a very heated argument. He wrote down the letter 'T' implying talaq. Now, at the time I said to him "Do you want me to finish it for you?" He said, "You cant give it". That there shows that his intention was quite clear as to what the 'T' was for. My question is: Did talaq take place?
Please tell me what is the share/gift due to a wife who is divorced by her husband? Does he have to give her this and how can we determine the value thereof?
I am suffering from a severe problem. My nikah was solemnized a year before but this marriage was not consummated. My husband went to Canada after one hour of our Nikah. We never met alone and this marriage was not consummated. Due to some problems which raised and could not be settled down. In October my husband said through an email that divorce paper are ready and I will send u soon. In December I received a divorce deed from my husband containing the statement ” Now this deed witness that, I the said do hereby divorce [name] pronouncing upon her Talak, Talak and Talak and by serving all connections of husband and wife with her forever and for good” The date written on divorce papers was 16th October and I received them on 24th December. My questions are:
Q1: Is the procedure of divorce is same just like normal case as this marriage was not consummated (without any sexual relationship)?
Q2: Is in such case its one divorce effective or it will be considered as tripple divorce effective?
Q3: If its one divorce effective, can I re-marry with the same person without any intervening marriage?
