The Legacy of Hadrat Mufti Ebrahim Desai (RA) Continues
Our Ustadh Hadrat Mufti Ebrahim Desai sahib (رحمه الله رحمة واسعة) was no stranger to the Muslims around the world. Through his relentless effort and passion to serve the deen of Allah Ta’ala, Hadrat Mufti sahib (RA) benefitted countless individuals all over the world through his Darul Iftaa and various websites, such as www.askimam.org, www.daruliftaa.net and www.darulmahmood.net. Through his loving personality and passion for serving the deen of Allah Ta’ala, he inspired and motivated his students. Through his kindheartednesses and generosity, he moved the hearts of one and all.
Upon his sudden demise, not only did the wider community lose a great beacon of light, but his students also lost a great moral support. He was like a fatherly figure to his students, who would encourage, motivate and support them.
Hadrat Mufti sahib (RA) instilled in his students the urge and passion for serving the deen of Allah Ta’ala. And because of this, his students all around the world are following the footsteps of their beloved ustadh. They are guiding, advising, educating and nurturing the Muslim ummah. They are serving the deen of Allah Ta’ala in various ways. They are continuing the legacy of their beloved ustad (RA).
Darul Ifta Australia is also from the legacies of Hadrat Mufti sahib (RA). It was through the duas of Hadrat Mufti sahib (RA) as well as his encouragement and support that this institute came into existence and was able to serve the Muslims in Australia, the neighbouring countries as well as the the wider world.
We pray that Allah SWT gives barakah to Darul Ifta Australia and allows it to expand and progess. May He accept the effort Hadrat Mufti sahib (RA) made in serving His deen and the Muslim ummah as well as the effort he made in training, guiding and inspiring his students. May Allah SWT accept the effort of Mufti sahib's students and make it a means of their salvation and that of Hadrat Mufti sahib (RA). Ameen Yaa Rabb.
